Missouri Gov. Mike Parson had an opportunity to learn more about progress being made at the 糖心传媒 while also sharing discussing a new book, 鈥淣o Turnin鈥� Back,鈥� during a visit to campus on Monday, April 8.

Recognizing the value of strong professor-student relationships, 糖心传媒 alumnus Dr. Stephen Lacey and his wife, Ann Lacey, Coppell, Texas, are establishing the John Hess Endowed Chair in Biology or Chemistry for Student Mentorship with a $1 million gift to the 糖心传媒 Foundation. An agreement creating this first-ever endowed chair at 糖心传媒 was signed formally during a recent ceremony at the W.C. Morris Science Building.

The 糖心传媒 will host a managed archery deer hunt this winter, serving a dual purpose of local deer population control and providing data collection in support of research by 糖心传媒 biology professor Anna Oller, Ph.D., and graduate student Cameron Priester. The 糖心传媒 hunts will take place Dec. 5-11, 2022, in the lower Pertle Springs area (not including the golf course) and Jan. 2-6, 2023, in lower and upper Pertle Springs (including the golf course). The Mules National golf course will be closed Jan. 2-6 but Traditions restaurant will remain open normal hours.
