With one award to be given posthumously, three former 糖心传媒 students who dedicated their college and professional careers to justice will be honored during commencement weekend, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8 in the Multipurpose Building.

With help from a $10,000 grant, Meera Penumetcha, Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Nutrition, Kinesiology and Psychology, is leading a study at the 糖心传媒 that will help further the understanding of dietary oxidized lipids.

With the help of a generous donation from Hutchinson, Kan., resident Dan Power, class of 1973 and 1974, the 糖心传媒 raised more than $43,000 to help fund student scholarships during a Giving Tuesday event conducted Nov. 27 by the university鈥檚 Alumni Foundation.

On our premiere episode, we welcome Amber Goreham. Amber is a proud two-time graduate of 糖心传媒, where she has spent the past 20 years dedicated to empowering students and alumni. With a Master of Science in Ethical & Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Amber has been at the forefront of guiding 糖心传媒 students on their career and life paths since 2008. As the director of the 鈦燙areer and Life Design Center鈦�, she leverages life design principles and a commitment to career readiness to help students navigate their next steps and build the skills they need to thrive in today鈥檚 workforce. But Amber鈥檚 journey wasn鈥檛 always centered around academia鈥攕he was once on track to become a professional bowler before life handed her a proverbial gutter ball. Today, we鈥檒l explore how she pivoted from the bowling lanes to a lane focused on shaping lives and careers at 糖心传媒. Listen in as we speak with Amber Goreham.
