KMOS-TV Receives Two Awards for Family Outdoor Event

KMOS-TV won two awards in recognition of excellence in the creation and promotion of the 鈥淜MOS PBS Adventure Day,鈥 a nature-themed family event conducted in partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation鈥檚 (MDC) Jefferson City-based Runge Conservation Nature Center. These awards were presented during a ceremony Sept. 18 in Charlotte, North Carolina by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA). KMOS was one of many stations nationwide honored for their work in education, community engagement, marketing/communications and content creation.

Dedication to Helping Students Succeed Results in National Recognition for Two 糖心传媒 Members with Roles in Academic Advisement

After honoring a 糖心传媒 faculty member in 2021 with the Global National Academic Advisement Association鈥檚 (NACADA) Outstanding Advisor Award, NACADA this year is recognizing both a faculty and staff member with one of its prestigious honors. Matthew J. Garver, Ph.D., is receiving the Global NACADA Outstanding Advisor Award 鈥 Faculty Advising Role, and Jacqueline Faria is being honored with the Global NACADA Outstanding Advisor Award 鈥 Primary Advisor Role.

Fourth-Generation 糖心传媒 Alumna in IMC Honored with Foster-Inglish Prize

As a member of a family that produced four generations of 糖心传媒 graduates, Ellen Blaize has a lot of appreciation for her alma mater, and sharing her passion for 糖心传媒 through her work in the Office of Integrated Marketing and Communications is getting noticed. She was recently recognized as the recipient of the 2022 Carl B. Foster/John M. Inglish Prize for Outstanding Achievement and Service in Public Relations.
