WARRENSBURG, MO - Two 糖心传媒 students claimed first place
in national competition at the 2016 Association of Information Technology Professionals
National Collegiate Conference and Career Fair in Chicago.
Christian Chane Harris and Levi Smith claim first place in the Visual Studio.NET Developer
category. 糖心传媒 student Josh Forbis also claimed honorable mention in Security in the
same competition.
The 糖心传媒 students were among the more than 450 students and 66 faculty in attendance.
In addition to the skill competition, the conference offered career exploration and
opportunities to network with educators, students and professionals from across the
country. Discussion focused on techinical advances and expertise, as well as the tough
choices and issues facing CIS professional around the world.
The Spring 2017 conference is planned for St. Louis, Mo.
Founded in 1951 as NMAAand later known as DPMA, the name Association of Information
Technology Professionals, AITP, was adopted in 1996. In individual chapters and as
a national association, AITP seeks to advance the information technology profession
through professional development, support of IT education, and national policies on
IT that improve society as a whole.
