Dr. David Gedosh is a guitarist, educator, audio engineer, and award-winning composer of electroacoustic music. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Composition, with a specialization in Computer Music and Intermedia, from the University of North Texas.

Over more than thirty years as a guitarist and bassist, he has performed, recorded, and composed across rock, progressive rock, funk, pop, and electronica鈥攁 range that informs a practice bridging contemporary commercial music and experimental art music. For more than two decades he has taught music technology, including audio engineering, music production, film scoring, and sound design, while working professionally in studio and computer-lab design, live concert sound, and recording and production for composers and performers.

Gedosh's compositions range from popular genres to acousmatic music and intermedia art, marked by an emphasis on gesture, sound mass, timbral transformation, and spatialization. His scholarly and artistic research examines narrative construction in acousmatic music, drawing together phenomenology, acousmatic theory, psychoanalysis, and neurobiology. His music has been performed across North America, Europe, and Latin America鈥攁t festivals including Ars Electronica Forum Wallis, Bourges Synth猫se (IMEB), and SEAMUS鈥攁nd has earned awards from Ars Electronica, ASCAP, and Bourges IMEB, with releases on the SEAMUS, Naxos, and independent labels.
